I would like to participate. How is it organized? Sign up sheet, first come, first go? Material need to be provided in advance or is it just a jam. Guitar player from Great Lakes region so not sure how it is done here.

Sorry for the late response. The event is organized by The Greater West Texas Blues Society officers. They have sign up sheet when you come in. Once your name is on it, they will call you up to jam with a group that is in need of a guitar player. You do not provide material in advance, it is a spontaneous jam. You are allowed to be on stage for a few songs, then at the end all musicians that participated get on stage for 1 last song. It is very cool. You should check it out! The event is the 4th Thursday of every month.
